OK, I loved V/H/S. But I thought V/H/S/2 was going to be just another rushed sequel to cash in on the success of the original. At least, that’s how I went into it. Thankfully I was 85% wrong.
While some parts were typical and cliche, this movie ROCKED. The overlaying story arch/video was meh but a good tie in to the first.
The first “video” was OK at best (the punk rock girl was the standout, and I know this sounds shallow but….she was HAWT!)
Each video after that just got better and better. I love the Zombie take on Go-Cams. Plus the birthday party scene is just hilarious, or at least I thought it was funny as shit.
The Documentary blew me away, I was genuinely shocked. Sure, you expected shit to go south Jim Jones style, but GODDAMN! You will not see this one coming.
And the last video…wow. TOTALLY.FUCKING.CREEPY. From that underwater shot at the beginning to the plummeting bloody end…DAMN.
Although it has a very “low budget feel” compared to the other videos.
The sound effects really make this one standout.
As an added bonus, the music throughout was really, really good.
Amazon scraped together a few bucks and ruined a movie into a TV program!
Why the ‘Zombieland’ TV Show Bit Off More Than It Can Chew
Here’s a little factoid about the movie Zombieland: The two guys who wrote the script originally planned it to be a TV show. It was deemed too expensive for television, but the budget was just right for a movie. Thanks to Amazon.com and its Amazon Originals streaming service, Zombieland is a show again.
If you’ve watched it, this was probably the thought running through your head: “How did we go from such a great movie to … this?”
I watched this, for FREE, on Amazon Prime. And it was so fucking horrible, I demanded a refund from Amazon.

That is a certified and official road sign. You should probably take its warning seriously and do what it says.
If you really want to get the Zombie Apocalypse started, there really is only one candidate to vote for.
